Feeling Good

A cartoon depicted a man hanging by chains on the wall of a dungeon. He was skinny and had long hair and a long beard. He had obviously been hanging there a long time. A psychiatrist was sitting in a chair in front of him with a pad and pen and was taking notes as he listened to the man. The man hanging on the wall, grinning from ear to ear, said, "Call me weird, but I feel good!" It is possible to feel good in spite of the circumstances. (Kent Crockett, The 911 Handbook, Peabody, MA: Hendrickson Publishers, 2003, 79)
